On Friday 24 July the opening ceremony of Laxacupen 2026 kicks off – an evening with a parade through Halmstad and a festive stage ceremony in Norre Katts park. Here's the key information.
Important about the times: Be at the meeting point (Hallands Konstmuseum / Halland Museum of Art) by 19:00 at the latest. The parade sets off at 19:15.
Parade & stage ceremony
The parade goes from Hallands Konstmuseum through the city and ends with a live artist and a festive atmosphere on the stage in Norre Katts park.
Free buses Free
Buses run from Halmstad Arena to the ceremony from 18:00 – 11 large buses running several rounds. Buses also run home afterwards.
